Need help with Simple Stupid: Required Fees? Email support@simplestupidapps.com. Include your Shopify store domain and a short description of what happened. Please do not send passwords, access tokens, or customer payment information.

Setup checklist

• Create a fee rule and select the applicable products or collections.
• Enable the Required Fees app embed in the published theme and save the theme.
• Add a qualifying product to a new test cart and confirm that the fee appears before checkout.

If a fee does not appear

• Confirm that the fee rule is active and ready.
• Confirm that the correct product or collection is selected.
• Confirm that the app embed is enabled on the published theme.
• Save any changes, then test again in a new cart.

Required charges only

The App is designed for mandatory charges that buyers are clearly told about before checkout. It does not support optional add-ons, tips, donations, gift wrap, protection, insurance, warranties, or charges that require buyer consent.
